The concept of satiety, or feeling of fullness after a meal, forms the basis of this weight-loss and maintenance programme. The authors believe that the fuller you feel at the end of a meal, the less you are likely to eat between meals or at the next meal.
This is a low-calorie plan, high in fibre, phytochemicals, and antioxidants and low in saturated fat. The title refers to the concept of eating healthily 90 per cent of the time, while for the other ten per cent you can enjoy “fun foods”.
